Grace Notes at Royal Hong Kong Yacht Club September 16
Dear Linda,
I have now seen Grace Notes twice at the club, once in the Chart Room and last Wednesday in the Compass Room. On both occasions I found the evening to be very enjoyable. They are a very talented group of ladies. It would be very nice to see more of their performances at the club in the future.

I very much enjoyed the singing last night and would be more than happy to see it repeated on a regular basis.
I am sure the others on my table enjoyed it too and I have asked them to send their own comments to you.
I was particularly impressed by how few members and guests talked at all during the performance which is rare in my experience for a dinner show of any kind and indicates a high level of appreciation as well as somewhat surprisingly good manners.
Last evening was the first time we heard Grace Notes perform at the Club and my husband Eddie and I are convinced the choir should be given more opportunity to sing to members going forward. Not only were they technically good but their choice of music was just right for the occasion - ie, dinner at Compass.
We believe that Grace Notes will be especially good at enhancing the atmosphere at festive occasions, notably Christmas.

Grace Notes at CityKids

Please pass on our thanks to your wonderful friends who performed for us on Saturday. Even with the less than idea weather we had a huge turn out and it looked like both adults and children were having a terrific time. Everyone loved having the choir perform and thought it was the icing on the cake for creating a truly festive atmosphere.

In case you didn't know, your two songs were fantastic. You were dead-on pitch, perfectly close to the microphones so that could hear each of you. AND the harmonies - and they were really lovely.
Brian joked with me later to say that he was probably in trouble with you guys cos your 2nd song was so fast - but it did sound brilliant!
Well done! See you for China Coast in December - hopefully I can turn the pages (even tho' can't read music, hahaha!) - if you'll have me!
